A Party with a Purpose

As a parent, one of the most important things you should know about After Prom is why we do this.  The primary reason for sponsoring this event is to help prevent tragedies linked to drinking and driving after the prom.  The objective is to create a fun and fabulous, safe, drug-free, chaperoned place for our kids and their friends to wind down after their “big night.”  We do this by throwing one way-cool party that no one wants to miss.  By the time the fun is over, everyone is ready to go straight home.  For some sobering information on the rise in alcohol-related traffic fatalities during Prom season, visit http://sadd.org/stats.htm.
